Having explored the amazing trails at Garland Ranch, we loved relaxing in our large, clean room. The private patio was a treat, giving us easy access to the pool. The proximity to Carmel Valley’s charm made our family stay even more enjoyable!

My wife says that a bit more variety in the breakfast would have been nice.

We celebrated our anniversary here, enjoying a cozy atmosphere perfect for couples. The room had a charming kitchen that made our stay feel homey. I recommend checking in early for better views from your room and don’t hesitate to ask for specific amenities!

I stayed for three nights and was pleasantly surprised by a lovely pool outlook and warm service that made me feel right at home. It's just a short stroll to wonderful spots like Carmel Valley Community Park and charming restaurants like Stirrup Cup Pizza.

The room was clean and spacious, but definitely felt more like a motel than a hotel. Basic amenities were provided like a fridge, and there was a nice outdoor patio. The shower pressure was decent, but the water temperature kept fluctuating, which was annoying. Also, the towels could have been better quality. Not luxurious, but okay for a short stay.

More attention to bathroom conditions would enhance the experience!!! Adjusting water temperature in the shower is a must!!! Improving room lighting would make tasks easier and make the stay more enjoyable!!!

stayed at contenda inn for 2 nights and really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool. the location is great, right at the edge of downtown and close to beautiful mountains where we heard lovely birds chirping. the manager was super helpful when we needed to relocate due to an issue with the heater.

Really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool with sun loungers nearby. Room had a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, and coffee machine. Hot tub was relaxing even at night, and we had a great patio entrance. Just a few blocks from downtown dining and shopping, and the scenery around was nice. The manager was super helpful when we needed to switch rooms due to the heater issue.

Had an awesome time with friends! The place was perfect for exploring nearby hiking at Garland Ranch Regional Park and checking out the local wineries. Just a heads up, the breakfast is pretty basic, but we made it work!
